How to read the
Reiqi Kanyu Calendar
In
Reiqi Kanyu Calendar, the arrangement of the Gregorian and
Lunar calendar is the same. The
outstanding feature of the Reiqi Kanyu calendar is that
it provides all the information above in a single pocket
calendar. In the following, the Reiqi Kanyu Academy will
explain how to extract all these information.
The marked purple and white are the months for the Solar
Calendar. In Feng Shui, the Solar Calendar or Farmers
Calendar is used to denote climatic changes or seasons of the
year. Thats why the Feng Shui Master always refers to
the changing period or the house luck starting on Feb 4
following the Beginning of Spring.
And not referring to the Traditional Chinese Calendar
of Lunar New Year on Feb 9, 2005.

For
example, on the month of February 2005, next to the word February
is the indication of Farmer's celebration {Beginning
of Spring (2/4)} and Chinese festival {Chinese
New Year (2/9)}. The date is written as
month/day.

|
|
2.4.05 [0145hrs] Li
Chun 1st
month |
|
|
Indicates
that on February 4, 2005 at 1:45am [0145
hours] is the first
day of the Solar month. The Chinese character is the
description of the month given by the Farmer's calendar.
The 1st month
indicates the first month of the Solar year. The row
is highlighted in purple and this means the first month of the
Solar year is from February 4 - March 4.

|
|
Another example,
|
3.5.05 [1947hrs] Jing
Zhe 2nd
month |
|
|
On March 5, 2005 at 7:47pm [1947hrs]
is the first day of the second month of the Solar year. The Chinese character is the
description of the month given by the Farmer's calendar.
The row is highlighted in white, therefore the
second Solar month begins on March 5 - April 4.

The
vertical Chinese characters beside the Gregorian day represent
the day of the Lunar calendar.
