The word REI is from the famous Japanese self healing technique of Reiki, whereas the Chinese pronunciation of it is LING which means universal.  Ki or Qi means energy. Therefore, REIKI means universal life force energy.

The term REIQI has the meaning of universal life force energy or the universal vital energy that is in our surroundings.  In metaphysical terms, it is the study of our aura or energetic bodies – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  On the logo the Q is designed to emphasize on the Chinese Yin Yang (balance) symbol.

The term KANYU means to observe the sky above us and to observe the land formation around us.  Essentially, the term KANYU means to study the flow of energy (Qi) and how to contain the energy in the right spot and harvest the benefits of the good energy (Qi).  That is to say, how we are affected by our environment around us. KanYu is the original term of Feng Shui.

Therefore, the term REIQI KANYU is the integration of the universal life force energy of human beings and the study of sky and land formations around us.  REIQI KANYU means energizing the flow of outstanding energy and harmonizing the yin yang of the environment.
